flowers
I think every girl loves to receive flowers...although she may not admit to it, deep down receiving flowers is a romantic and beautiful gesture of love. It doesn't have to be done all the time, but the once in a while and out of the blue thought is something really special.

For me personally, I am a real romantic at heart and I love receiving flowers even if they are plucked from the neighbor's garden...to me it is just the thought and the association of something so beautiful being given to me.
Not only are flowers such a beautiful thing to give and grow but they are such lovely pieces to use to adorn your house with. They give instant color, pattern and texture to a interior.
I don't really stick to any particular flower, I am more driven by the color and shape of the flower. I love something unusual that I may not have seen before, but at times and especially when they are available, I do love Peonies.
I love peaches and soft pink flowers, very feminine and pretty.
But...roses are always good too - I love soft pink roses and I frequently buy them for my home. My hubby always seems to buy me the red variety - which is fine, I am not complaining...
Adding contrast to a flower arrangement is such a great way to add more depth. Whether it is just to style your home or add a little glamour for a high tea or dinner party, flowers just seem to add that extra bit of special...
And for the men that may be reading this, knowing your girls favorite color - especially if its pearls, pinks, yellows or maybe reds - is a thoughtful gesture to say that you thought more than just getting flowers - you had her specific taste in mind!!! So next time you go to a florist, perhaps get a flower arrangement made instead of buying what is already there - its nice either way but just making a little suggestion here.
A little touch of green to a flower arrangement can also introduce some contrast and point of difference in an arrangement. I love over sized flowers - especially the ones above - they just add such impact and you don't need many to do this table arrangement either.
some interiors
a romantic gesture might mean, having some flowers set up a in a room before your girl gets home...it can be as simple as lining up a few flowers in bottles on the kitchen window...
Orchards are some of my very favorites and they can last a lifetime if you look after them properly.
A beautiful flower arrangement in a sitting room is a great way to unwind and relax with a cuppa tea.
And it doesn't have to be many flowers, like I said - just a few can make the world of difference to an interior and also to your girl!!!
A beautiful yet simple arrangement on a working desk can help to relax your mind and feel like a bit of nature is inside. Plants can also make great desk accessories and are very good for your health.

Tip: if you only have a few dollars to spare...cutting a rose from the garden or buying one rose from a florist and placing it in a vintage tea cup and making a little breakfast for your girl is romantic.
Also, placing some roses in some vintage tea cups as a table setting is a really lovely way to celebrate a girly occasion.
Entertaining guests with flowers is a great way to add beauty to a table. I always go to the markets to pick up some flowers, especially when I am hosting an occasion, it really can make the table just look that extra bit special and brighten up the home as well.
it's pretty simple and clear...do it with flowers
