Craft this fun DIY garden seed envelope gift as a simple housewarming or Mother's Day gift! This is a fun and easy activity to get the kids involved in.
I absolutely love the garden. While I don't particularly love getting sweaty and dirty, I do enjoy watching the hard work pay off. Me and Hubs spent a better part of last summer completely redoing the backyard (which we're still not finished with).
It's starting to shape up, and it's a few steps away from being an enjoyable place to relax!
Since I'm in the mood to garden, I wanted to give you a super-easy gift idea that's perfect for spring or even summer!
I would be very happy to receive the gift of packets of seed, but if they came in handmade and decorated envelopes I would love them even more!
Garden Seed Envelope Gift
Materials:
- Kraft paper
- Seeds
- Double-sided tape with dispenser
- One seed envelope opened up
Follow these instructions for making an envelope. Once your envelope is assembled, describe what's inside with hand lettering, hand-drawn pictures or even stickers.
Once you have decorated your envies, fill them with seeds, seal and wrap several up with pretty ribbon. You can even hang a little charm on the ribbon!
Next week I will have another idea that you can pair with your customized seed envelopes for when you need a more substantial gift!
