Every so often I like to get creative with gifts. It's one thing to buy something for someone but the fact that you can make something just as good blows my mind. So whenever I have the chance and patience, I like to search through Pinterest to find ideas for future crafts that I could do for the people in my life.
As it turned out, I had a birthday party to attend that weekend and I wanted to make something cool and cheap. After about 30 minutes of browsing, I found the neat idea to make a booze bouquet. What exactly is a booze bouquet? Keep reading and find out!
Supplies
- Mini bottles of alcohol
- Ceramic pot
- Cork craft sticks
- Spray paint of your choice
- Glue gun
- Foam block
- Dums Dums
First you want to start with a ceramic pot. I found this one at Michael's for under three dollars.
Then with the color of your choice, spray paint the whole thing. I even spray painted the insides to make it look even.
While I waited for the spray paint to dry, I started to spray paint the sticks to create a uniform look with the ceramic pot.
After the sticks dried, I started to glue them to the back of the bottles of alcohol. I chose Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey because it's my friend's favorite drink.
I let the glue dry completely and started to break apart the foam block and arrange the pieces in the ceramic pot. I picked up the sticks with the Fireball glued securely to the back and started to arrange the sticks in the pot until I had the perfect arrangement.
As a final touch, I added Dums Dums to the pot by sticking them in the foam along with the sticks to fill in the spaces around the sticks.
Final product!
This was really easy to make. The only difficult thing was making sure the sticks stayed glued onto the bottles of alcohol. I had to apply the hot glue twice to some of them and they held up really well. All in all, this was a fun craft to do and I would definitely recommend making one as a fun gift.
