I loved using the 2015 calendar cards I created for my Project Life album this year. And decided to do it again for 2016. The size was really fun to work during this year in my previous album I used 3x4 cards which were great but I felt like they disappeared in the midst of all the photographs I used, so I made 4x6 cards. I decided last year to keep them monochromatic at first, I've seen lots of calendar cards across the internet but they have a very strong style or color scheme, but one of the things that I like to do is use these kinds of things as building blocks for my own album. And if I was going to make these I wanted to make them available for others to use as well. So I kept the color scheme black and white for people to build on with their own colors and embellishment style. Save the print files for these cards here.
This year I used the same basis for my design for the Project Life 2016 Calendar Cards, choosing a black and white base with beautiful typography to set it off. I also left a large area at the top blank for all kinds of embellishments. Here are a few of my ideas.
Gradient watercolor wash, watercolor scene painting, washi tape, stamps, marker illustrations, blank, add your images to the top, or print on patterned paper for a completely different look. I'd love to see how you customize these Project Life 2016 Calendar Cards for your album!
