5 Festive Fall Wreaths

Do you remember the day you realized you were an adult?  For me it seemed to coincide with the same year I hung my first wreath and lamented not owning a gravy boat.  I've rectified the gravy boat situation and the wreaths have started changing with more and more frequency.  Fall is almost here, time to start thing about a new festive wreath.

I just bought a grapevine wreath that I was planning on spray painting black.  However, after seeing this snazzy coral cutie over at Architecture of a Mom I'm having second thoughts.  Rachel added some burlap and chalkboard accents and this trendy romantic wreath was born.

Debra over at Common Ground has been making her own wreaths for years.  She has an easy 3 step system she swears by.  I knew I was going to like her system when I read: "Start with your basic grapevine twig wreath. The more crazy twigs the better.. I like a wild, natural, just picked look."

The ladies at Craftaholics Anonymous has me at polka dots.  Seems like grapevine wreaths are a popular fall trend and I am totally on board.  Pop over and let the ladies walk you through making your own wreath and even tips on cutting burlap straight.

Another popular fall trend - initials and burlap.  This wreath took the ladies over at Classy Clutter 45 minutes and $5 to make.  That is my kind of wreath.  They gathered burlap and saved on the cost of an actual wreath base.  I'm already thinking about how I can get the same look using scrap fabric.

Debbie from Debbiedoo's may have won for most original wreath.  She combined all the fall favorites like grapevine wreaths and burlap - but she took it up a notch with chicken wire and a burlap bunting.  If the bow involved polka dots it would be a done deal for me.

So many choices.  Which wreath shall I make?  Which wreath are you going to make?
