When my boys went nutty over this cutout of a honey bear at the State fair I knew I was going to need some honey bee embellies. Not willing to fork out $5 for a packet of three bees, assuming I can even find any cute ones that didn't look ready to attack me right from the package, I decided I would hit my stash to make my OWN honey bees.Using leftover cork letters, scraps of vellum (I actually used my scrap bin!) and a bit of (ancient, like 5 year old) craft wire I fashioned some super cute honey bees in that cost me nothing but a couple of rewinds of Project Runway when I would forget I was watching while making my bees pretty. Sweet!
