Last year I sent this pretty pumpkin Thanksgiving Blessings Greeting Card to my friends and family for the holiday. Then I used these cute little place cards and some wooden pumpkins to decorate the dinner table.
For the place cards I used a dark orange cardstock cut to 4.25" x 4.75" and folded it in half. After I cut out the pumpkins, I colored them and mounted them on brown cardstock.
I printed everyone's name in brown ink on some cream colored cardstock with a large enough space between them for trimming. Then I put it all together by layering the pieces.
For the Thanksgiving Blessings card I used brown card stock for the base of the card and the same orange card stock that I used for the place cards. I printed copies of the pumpkin on white cardstock, cut them out and colored them. I always use my oil pencils if I can, the colors are so much richer than regular colored pencils.
On the inside there is a simple "Happy Thanksgiving" journaling block mounted on more orange cardstock. I wanted to center the text but also leave enough room to sign at the bottom. This card is made to fit a standard A2 evelope.
