We had a weekend filled with family fun and lots of fresh air. It was so nice to breath in the Spring and to stretch our legs outside without too many layers. The kiddos, of course, did not notice the time change difference much and were full of vibrant energy!
After a viewing of the classic Peter Pan last weekend there has been a lot of talk about pirates around here. (Ps, isn't vintage Disney the best?!) So much pretending that it seemed only right to make some quick props to along with their imaginary pirate ship...
Oh, isn't it nice to always have felt and elastic on hand, and to raid the recycling bin before trash day!
Unfortunately, we ended the weekend (at the very end of the day) with Henry doing a face plant onto one of his toys. And so, this morning we began the week with his first ever trip to the dentist for his first every X-ray. So far, it doesn't look like there is too much damage. It seems like the tooth can stay. But, it does not look pretty. Although, I will say that he looks more like the a pirate now, which is well and good for him I suppose, but for me, I am trying not too cringe every time I see him take a bite of food.
I am not typically an an overly cautious mama, but now I find myself worried that he will bop his face a bit too hard in one way or the other and then the tooth will surely be finished! But, I guess all we can do is hope for the best because there isn't much else we can do...
Well, maybe we can find Tinker Bell and have her sprinkle some pixie dust on it...
