Lot’s of people make their own Christmas ornaments, but how many people make their own holiday lights? Luckily, you don’t need to be an electrician to make these lights. All you need is some puffy paint, chicken wire and gold glitter. Now let’s light it up!
Tap lights are darn handy. Sure they are not much to look at, but that can easily be changed. The ladies at Club Chica Circle decided to give their tap lights an ornament makeover. A little paint and a bottle cap and yu would never knew these lights were not born an ornament.

I love this idea from Brittany at Pretty Handy Girl about making your own outdoor giant lighted Christmas balls. My front yard is looking a little too pitiful to greet Santa, think I might make a set of these and spruce things up a bit.

I adore the DIY lights from Life as a Thrifter for several reasons. They are a DIY project which makes them unique. Chunky gold glitter is involved which is always a bonus. A shot glass was used as part of ‘glitter pouring station’ which made me giggle.
