Free Printable Vintagesque Bedtime Routine

In my shop I am introducing two versions of a bedtime routine item. I have tried several routine methods over the years. I have learned that if I just slap something together it ends up lost under the fridge more than it gets used. And if I make it pretty I will stick with it longer. As a parent I know establishing routines and a schedule is important to help children gain confidence, as well as set them up for a good day.

With Kid #3 starting kindergarten in the fall, I want to help solidify routines at home so she feels like there isn't too much change happening. Also I want to make sure we have established a solid bedtime routine so I know she will get enough rest. We all know how much fun a kindergartener with not enough rest can be.

Here I am sharing a version of our bedtime routine, it is a loverly printable with vintage illustrations. 11 tasks are included: clean up, wash hands, snack, pick out clothes, potty time, bath time, put pajamas on, brush hair, brush teeth, story time, tucked in. The background is a scrolly frame around a tan dictionary page.

This prints at 8x10, so you could just frame it and stick it on the wall as is, or mount it on regular scrapbook paper.

You could print out two copies and cut out the tasks, glitter the edges, and mount them as we did above. We also cut out the frame and edged it with glitter, but this was some fine cutting work. We mounted ours with foam tape so it looked dimensional. I used super fine glitter on the name and the "bedtime routine" title as well. Because you can never have too much glitter. We finished ours with a spray craft sealant.
