I have seen these darling jewelry bowls available for sale on some of my favorite flash sale sites like Jane or Groupdealz, but when I found these little gold china bowls at Home Goods the other day I figured it would be crazy simple to just make a set for myself. And, since they came in a four-pack, I had enough to make one for Christy and one for Terry, too.
This was such a quick and easy project--and seriously they make a great personalized gift idea for just a few $ each.
I imposed on Christy to cut some gold vinyl monograms with her Silhouette vinyl cutter. {This is the vinyl we used FYI, in gold, of course}. She was able to use the same monograms from our favorite black and white totes from the Haven Conference. She mailed them to me and all I had to do was attach them to the center of the bowl--Voila!
It's always nice to have a pretty place to store jewelry but mine also might migrate over to my desk to store office supplies. Or maybe I will just make another set for that purpose?
I think they would make wonderful bridesmaid gifts or shower favors--or a thoughtful present for a newly engaged bride-to-be to hold her new ring--the possibilities are endless.
I am off to visit Christy--so excited for some time with her in Savannah--and {spoiler alert} I am sure you can guess what her hostess present will be.
