Having lived in Alaska for several years, I know what it's like to be a trick-or-treater walking from door to door in the blistering cold. One thing my mom did to make things extra special for the little kids was to pack and wrap the candy individually. Our candy didn't end up mixed with the other candy from the neighbors. They'd go home remembering that the individually packaged ones came from us.
On the site, I've managed to made an annual thing out of holiday candy packaging. In the last three years, I've written tutorials for candy poppers, milk cartons and origami boxes. The great thing about these ideas is that you can make all of them without any special tools.
