I started putting up one of my #christmas trees today. It is a feather tree that goes in the sitting room. I really like the country feel that it has. This is the first Christmas in many years that I did not have to rush to get the decorations up due to the demands of teaching first grade. I am excited to take my time and enjoy the process.
While I was working on the tree, I had an idea to make a few ornaments using Washi Tape. I recently ordered a set of Christmas Washi Tape with Kraft Tags from Amazon.
This is what I made:
I used them on the tree but they would be darling as a gift tag as well!
I mixed and matched the different patterns of tape on the Kraft tags. I like the informal look of having them different. I had a little stamp at home that has several Christmas phrases that I stamped on with a brown ink pad. To finish them off, I hot glued a button on and used thin jute to tie a hanger at the top. They are going to be perfect with the other ornaments I have for the feather tree.
It was fun and so easy!
