To say that I’ve been busy is a huge understatement. Last week I hosted a luncheon for my aunts, mom & grandmother, Sunday was our Thanksgiving meal at church & this week is Thanksgiving. It seems I’ve been in the kitchen almost nonstop for a week–with the exception of a few measly hours for sleep. Even though the past week has been a whirlwind of activity around here, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I love this time of year!
Thanksgiving is a time for us to reflect upon our many blessings & give thanks to God for His goodness, provision, unconditional love &, most of all for salvation through Christ Jesus.
To encourage guests to focus on God’s blessings, I added scriptures of thanksgiving to the table.
How did I create this simple look? I carefully cut out each scripture tag & punched a hole on the left-hand side (in the middle of the decorative flourish). Then strung twine through the hole & around my silverware. I finished by tying everything up in a simple bow.
Would you like to add scriptures of thanksgiving to your Thanksgiving table? Feel free to save the below picture to your computer by clicking the picture, then right click & save to your pictures. Print the scripture tags & use your creativity to incorporate them into your Thanksgiving celebration this year.
I hope your Thanksgiving preparations are going well & I’d love to hear how you used my scripture tags–please leave me a comment below.
Thanks for visiting & have a blessed day!
