12 Crafting Days of Christmas - Mid-Madness Wrap-Up

The days are ticking by...5 days until Christmas! Anyway, as it was last year, I have but a few days left to finish crafting and it will not be nearly enough time to complete what I had planned. So, here's my mid-madness wrap-up. If I don't remind myself of what we've completed in our home this month, I will continue to stress out over what still needs to be done.  Here's a peek at our mania Christmas-y goodness.

  •  We have completed 13 Lego building trays and sold 11 of them.  Two are wrapped under the tree for the older boys.  There are 3 made but left un-customized, and if I can sell them before Christmas, I will!
  • I made one night gown for Princess and one pair of pajama pants for Turbo.
  • I made 33 kid's ties and sold 25 of them. I have 6 left for sale, 2 are wrapped under the tree for my boys, and I have promised 7 more to a friend.
  • I made Butter a stocking.
  • We made 3 cat toys and two "kitty puzzles" for Bruce Wayne on Christmas.
  • We made ornaments for the tree.
  • Turbo and I sewed a bear dress for Princess' Stuffington Bear Factory bear.
  • I am 90% completed on my husband's gift.
  • I crocheted my little sister a hat.
  • I made a baby blanket for a newbie that needed one.
  • I sewed a custom machine cover for my aunt's beastly large commercial embroidery machine.
  • I finished two tree-themed mini-quilts for a women's retreat.

As for the non-sewing/crafting things we have accomplished:

  • I wrote 12 pages of a website; all custom content created by me and then didn't get paid for it (don't ask!)
  • I edited  3 blog entries for another friend's website.
  • I started an ASL class with the kids and reviewed it on my blog.
  • We bought our first Christmas tree in 7 years and decorated it this week. Turbo just sits next to it and basks in its glow.
  • We've read a Bible verse for advent every day and the kids even stopped begging for the chocolate that usually accompanies it during this season. They just listen to God's Word. I could just melt.
  •  I have tomoatos ripening on the vine right now. In December. Be still, my heart.
  • I worked on a painting for a women's retreat I attended (which was awesome!) but I didn't finish it.
  • We went to the zoo.
  • We saw Christmas lights in a few different places.
  • My husband and I got to go out on a date for my birthday!

As for what's left:

  • PJs for the Toolman and Butter,
  • A comic book rendering of the Outsiders for my son so he can custom color it. Toolman told me this was all he wanted for Christmas this year. So, I kind of want to get it done. But, what a lot of work!
  • The 7 ties previously mentioned.
  • At least one more blog post needs to be edited.
  • Steering wheel cover for my husband.
  • Batman wings
  • Finish up the gift that is 90% completed. I should be working on it now, but I have no idea when he is going to get home so I don't want to take it out.
  • Two fleece blankets for the older boys
  • Rodney's shirt. From last year. Yup, that's a thing, folks. I still haven't mustered up the courage to finish the buttons. So much for 6 years of sewing confidence, eh?

And on that note:

sunshineyday

What do you have left to do before Christmas gets here? Please tell me I'm not the only one with insanity ahead of me. Truly though, It's all about Jesus and whatever I don't finish...we will live without as we always do. I just really want to finish.
