Here is an easy craft to do with toddlers for Valentine's.
All it takes is construction paper and washable glue sticks (because those sticky fingers will get everywhere).
I cut out a few circle and heart shapes using craft punches. But you don't need punches. You can cut out any shapes you want with scissors.
On some card stock paper, I drew a lady bug and a few words "my love bug" and "Happy Valentine's Day!" with some markers.
Then I let Victoria have a go with the shapes and glue stick!
I helped a little bit with the ladybug, so that all of the shapes made their way into the body of it. Victoria had free rein on the second drawing, while mama was busy shooting 1,000 photos with my camera. Then I taped up her artwork in my office, at her eye level above some toys. That way we can all admire them for Valentine's.
I'm actually really enjoying that little wall space for hanging her art. It might just be a good place for all of them to go. I also hope to soon remove the toys from here and in lieu of replace them with a toddler-sized table and chairs for future crafts. A toddler must-have.
