I hate to do this to you, I really do... But, I'm thinking about Christmas knitting. I've been wanting to knit a lacy shawl with some gorgeous fingering weight yarn for quite a while now, so I thought, why not make some for Christmas gifts?! I get to knit, and someone gets a lovely gift. Double whammy! The great thing about lacy shawls is that they're a pretty quick knit, and usually 1 skein of fingering weight yarn is enough, so it's also an economical gift.
I've had my eye on this guy since I've started knitting. The Lonely Tree Shawl by Silvia Bo Bilvia.
For you crochet lovers out there, Fortune's Shawlette by Tamara Kelley.
Here's a new one from a designer that I adore, Rohn Strong, called Fuente.
Another lace crochet shawl that looks lovely. Summer Sprigs by Esther Chandler.
This one is part of a free pattern set from Knitting Daily. All 10 patterns look great! Little Arrowhead Shawl by Pam Allen.
I think this should be enough to keep me busy for a while! I hope you've been inspired as well! Merry Christmas in July!
