A Walt Disney World vacation is magical. The process of creating the scrapbook of those memories can be magical too.
Scrapbooking products abound, but I have posted some of my favorites below. I spent a lot of time looking for just the right digital scrapbook kits to preserve our magical memories. Because no one wants to get into trouble, most digital scrapbooking supplies don't say "Disney" in the title. That makes it just a little more difficult to find the supplies you need for this type of scrapbook.
Here are some tips for finding Disney-themed scrapbooking supplies:
- When you find a designer who has a kit you like, check out the rest of her collection. Many times if you like one, you will like more of them.
- If you search a site with the term,"Disney" and come up empty, try using "mouse,""mickey,""magic," or any other words associated with the photos you will be using.
- Check out Mousescrappers.com for inspiration and tips.
- If you like a kit, look closely before purchasing it. Most of the digital scrapbook products can be purchased in several ways, such as just papers, just embellishments, page starters, border clusters, kits or giant bundles. If I will be using the kit for multiple pages, I usually buy the bundle if one is available. That gives me more options on each page. If I'm pretty sure a kit will be used for just one page, a kit or even just the embellishments or word art might be enough.
Today I am focusing on general kits that can be used for a vacation at Disney World. I am including only kits that I would use in my own layouts. I will show you more kits I love for specific parks and even for specific rides in future posts.
