If you're looking for a cute hostess gift to bring to Thanksgiving dinner or a fun party, we’ve got you covered! These adorable DIY pumpkin flower arrangements are the perfect fall hostess gift, incorporating the number one fall essential (a pumpkin, of course!) and seasonal flowers!

These are SO easy to make, yet look so professional and thoughtful! Follow these quick and easy steps and you've got yourself the perfect hostess gift that'll be sure to impress!

  1. Start by picking out a small “pumpkin pie” sized pumpkin (that’s what they call them at the store) and seasonal flowers. I usually like to get an assortment of oranges, yellows, and reds for fall, plus a little bit of greenery for the base of the arrangement. If you're just buying these in your local grocery store, one bouquet is usually enough, but I tend to buy two so I can have more diversity in flower colors. You'll also need a small block of floral foam, which you can buy at Michael's or your local craft store.
  2. Using a paring knife, carve your pumpkin! Create a hole about four inches in diameter, and remove the seeds and pulp from the pumpkin.
  3. Cut the floral foam in a 4x4 inch cube and soak it in a tub of water for one minute. Make sure not to crush the foam and allow it to fully absorb the water.
  4. Place the water-saturated foam block inside the pumpkin. It should be pretty cozy in there!
  5. Place your greenery and leaves at the base of the arrangement.
  6. Insert flower stems into the foam, creating contrasts in color and texture throughout the arrangement!
  7. Make any final adjustments in flower height and positioning and then you're done! You can wrap a bow around the base if you'd like, or present them as is!

Your host will absolutely love all of the thought and love that went into this gift. Plus your friends can enjoy it in their home a lot longer than that bottle of wine :)

Have fun! I would love to see your cute pics of the final product!!
