Salt Dough Recipe

(I see you're skipping dinner ...)

2 cups flour (go cheap, save the Bob's Red Mill for eating)
1 cup table salt (not kosher, not sea salt, you want fine grain)
3/4 cup water

Mix it up (I just use my hands). Roll it out with a rolling pin on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutters for ornaments. Punch a hole with a straw for stringing. Put on a parchment lined baking sheet at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes, flipping over halfway through. Test with your fingertips for firmness. OR sculpt into any not-too-heavy shape you like. Embed a disc-magnet into the back and poof! magnet. Paint with acrylic. Or a little mod modge and glitter if you're into that kind of thing (which I AM). Or keep em naked and see who's the first to try to eat one.

Now ... PHOTOS!

In particular I love the simple pink dot by the artist, Magnolia.

Though I'm also a fan of the simple pink M on the artist's self-portrait.
