So, I signed up for, Handprinted, a fabric swap, again. This is round three. You might remember that I participated in the last round too. You might also remember that I had an incident where I used the wrong type of paint, argh! And then was not completely happy with the final results.
Honestly, after the last round I was feeling a bit gun shy, but I really wanted to give it a go again to prove to myself that I could be happy with my results.
So last weekend I did some quick tests using things that I found around the house as stamps. (not great pictures, I admit...)
Violet watched intently over my shoulder...She was fascinated and very interested in giving it a try herself. At the time we were actually supposed to be getting ready for a birthday party so I wasn't quite ready for her to try with the fabric paint and fabric, so instead I set both kiddos up with paper and washable paints...
They had so much fun seeing how their tools looked after being stamped onto their paper.
It was a successful run. I've been printing on fabric and enjoying the results. Hope to share next week!
Have a great day. Oh and check out the other handprinted goodness in the flickr group!
