Hello Friends!
We have been busy just loving December. I don't have a regular post today from December Daily, but last night we baked some cookies and I just wanted to share the photographic evidence. Enjoy.
This was my little helper. While the older children were at karate she and I decided to have some fun in the kitchen. After everyone got home and took baths, the reward was to share some chocolate-y goodness together.
Yes, that is our daughter wearing a Halloween costume. I'm not sure how it came about, but we decided to let them wear their old costumes to sleep in if they wanted to (yes, I realize they are not in any way flame retardant!). They love it. We frequently have a witch princess, Pikachu, and Snow White spend the night with us!
I am not a photography expert, but when my camera captures this it is magic to me. I love their little hands, holding all the goodness that is life. I do this often, just to capture what is in their interest at the moment.
Note the powdered sugar around the corners of her little mouth! Too cute!
This would be evidence of the sugar rush setting in, Nick getting all happy and love-y in the middle there.
And then this magic happens. These two are quite a pair. Sometimes the camera captures a special thing between them, and it makes me happy. It makes me happy that we have this guy in our lives, who takes care of us and would move heaven and earth for us.
And that is all for today. I will be back in a few days after I finish my last paper for school, to share more December Daily goodness.
