This treasury has kept me busy last week, with removing the old upholstery and installing new upholstery. But, I finally finished the chair, and will share the turn-out with you today.
From the moment I saw this chair at a local up-scale resale store, I knew I had to have it! This chair has been my second chair project. My dining chairs were my first chair project, you can find them here, here and here.
That’s how the chair looked like when I purchased it for $22.00.
I immediately knew I had to give the frame a darker finish, and it turned out better than I could have imagined! I used the Minwax 70013 1 Quart Wood Finish Interior Wood Stain, Ebony (affiliate link). Anyways, I’ll be sharing more about the DIY process and the materials I used on Monday.
