DIY PAINTED COASTERS
'Tis the season for holiday parties, so if you're looking for the perfect hostess gift, look no further...I've got you covered. DIY painted coasters are ridiculously easy and fun to make. Put them in a drawstring bag with a bottle of wine and you're good to go. Your options are truly endless. Paint a monogram, better yet, paint any design with any color your little heart desires and you have a one of a kind homemade gift. These coasters would also make a great teacher's gift.
I found my cork coasters at Ikea but your local craft store will have them as well. I used garage sale stickers and painters tape to make my designs.
In the past I've also used letter stickers to make monogram coasters.
Make sure your stickers/tape are pressed down well so your paint will not bleed.
My daughter even wanted to get in on the fun!

I let the coasters dry for about 45 minutes to an hour. Peel your tape/stickers off slowly.
Voila!
